Im SO lame
Well yeah its been a LONG time since I posted anything here, Im glad some of you still visit. Anyway my move is finished, so Im back on the mainland and living in St. Louis. I will suffering from Maui withdrawl and culture shock for the next few months so bear with me. Music wise my options are much better now as far as live music goes. I plan on seeing LES CLAYPOOL a few weeksfrom now. If you dont know who he is check out PRIMUS and be prepared to be blown away by his awesomley freakish BASSitude. Honestly I cant even comprehend how fast he plays that thing, hes amazing and Im looking forward to seeing him live again. Right now Im listening to new stuff by TOOL, David Gilmore and the Drive by truckers. I'll give some reviews after they have sunk in a bit. I will try and restart the band battles as soon as the fans start coming back. The voting was getting pretty slim on the last few battles, so its not really far to pick a winner with less than 20 voters. So my question is what Concert or shows are YOU looking forward to seeing this summer? Any picks on what is going to be the ove rplayed POP"song of the summer" ? Every so often there is actually one that is OK. Right now my money is on the RHCP's " Dani California" and Im not sure how much I like it. And finally what are you going to be listening to this summer? Lastly I propose for this Memorial day ( and all the future ones ) I am going to honor all the fallen Rockers instead of the warriors who died on the Battlefield. No offense to anyone out there but to me music has won more battles than bullets. So on MOnday Im going to start the day off with Hendrix playing the"star spangled banner" at full volume followed by lots of Skynard, Nirvana and Metallica among others. Once again my friends; ROCK ON!
